Low-Voltage Fixed Switchgear (GGD)

Product Introduction:
GGD low-voltage fixed switchgear is suitable for AC 50 Hz power distribution systems with rated operating voltage of 380 V and rated operating current up to 3150 A in power plants, substations, industrial and mining enterprises, and other power users. It is used for power conversion, distribution, and control of power, lighting, and distribution equipment.
GGD low-voltage fixed switchgear is a new type of low-voltage distribution cabinet designed according to the requirements of the competent authorities of the Ministry of Energy, power users, and design departments, following the principles of safety, economy, rationality, and reliability. The product features high breaking capacity, good dynamic and thermal stability, flexible electrical schemes, convenient combination, strong standardization and practicality, novel structure, and protection rating advantages. It can serve as an upgraded replacement product for complete low-voltage switchgear.
Product Features:
The cabinet body of the GGD AC low-voltage distribution cabinet adopts a universal cabinet form. The frame is assembled from 8MF cold-formed steel sections by partial welding. Structural parts and special matching parts are supplied by designated section-steel manufacturers to ensure cabinet accuracy and quality. Universal cabinet components are designed according to modular principles and provided with 20-module mounting holes. The high degree of universality enables factory pre-production, shortening the manufacturing cycle and improving work efficiency.
Heat dissipation during cabinet operation is fully considered in the GGD cabinet design. Different numbers of ventilation slots are provided at the upper and lower ends of the cabinet. When electrical components inside the cabinet generate heat, hot air rises and is discharged through the upper slots, while cool air continuously enters through the lower slots. This forms a natural ventilation path from bottom to top in the sealed cabinet, achieving heat dissipation.
In accordance with modern industrial product styling requirements, the GGD cabinet uses the golden ratio to design the cabinet appearance and the dimensions of each section, giving the whole cabinet an attractive and refreshed appearance. The cabinet door is connected to the frame by rotary movable hinges for convenient installation and removal. A mountain-shaped rubber-plastic strip is embedded in each door folded edge. When the door is closed, the strip has a certain compression stroke between the door and frame, preventing direct collision between the door and cabinet and improving the door’s protection rating.
The instrument door fitted with electrical components is connected to the frame with multi-strand flexible copper wire. Internal mounting parts are connected to the frame with knurled screws, forming a complete protective earthing system for the cabinet.
The cabinet finish uses polyester orange-peel baked paint, which has strong adhesion and good texture. The entire cabinet has a matte tone, avoiding glare and creating a more comfortable visual environment for operators. The cabinet top cover can be removed when required to facilitate on-site assembly and adjustment of the main busbar. Lifting rings are installed at the four corners of the cabinet top for lifting and transportation. The cabinet protection rating is IP30, and users may also select a rating between IP20 and IP40 according to the operating environment.
